This concert also featured concerts by Foreigner and Styx. The gates opened at 5:30 PM and it looked like it was going to be a very sparse crowd. Let alone that it took me an hour to get to the venue, it soon became apparent that the traffic to get there was going to be terrible for a lot of people.
Foreigner started their show at 7:00 PM, it was fantastic. They were very lively and willing to belt out their songs. People started arriving in great droves just after 8:00 PM when Foreigner finished their show. At about 8:15 PM, Styx came on stage. They too belted out their songs and there couldn't be a better pre-show to Def Leppard. Styx added an additional 15 minutes of encores.
Hotel Monaco came to the show and offered their employees tickets and food at the venue. Many of them, as well as others attended in 80's garb, like long hair wigs and 80's attire. It was great.
At 9:30 PM Def Leppard came on stage and really rocked the place. Photos were taken for the first two songs of each band, and they turned out fantastic.
